Real or Fake?

The dilemma a lot of brides face is real or faux flowers? It’s not an easy choice anymore considering that fake flowers have come a LOOOOONG way since the 1980s.

I will briefly discuss the pros and cons of faux flowers.

High quality silk flowers are available through a wholesaler and can be pricey, and most of the time they cost almost the same or more than real flowers. The lower quality silks like the ones you would find at a Dollar store or crafts store are more budget friendly however the quality is very poor. Silks are fragile, not durable and not waterproof. They fade fairly quick when exposed to sunlight and do not maintain their shape if crushed.

Floramatique flowers are the highest quality faux flowers you can get. They are made of a polymer blend material, they are incredibly realistic and very durable. They are lightweight for easy transport, crush proof and waterproof. The colours do not fade when exposed to sunlight. Their best features is that they LOOK AND FEEL real. Hence their marketing name “real touch flowers”.

Floramatique flowers are perfect for brides who are allergic to real flowers and for brides having a destination wedding in the Caribbean or another country.

The most popular choices are orchids, calla lilies, roses, spider mums, dahlias, water lilies and peonies.

Floramatique flowers cost more than silk flowers but keep in mind you are paying for quality and for something that will last forever. Brides prefer having a Floramatique bouquet because they can keep it forever.

TIP: If you prefer fresh flowers, have a Floramatique copy of your bouquet that way you can keep it forever.

Here are a few bouquets of Floramatique flowers I have created:
