Joyce and Gurinder

I couldn't wait to get working on the flowers for Joyce and Gurinder's wedding and I wanted to make the ceremony location extra romantic.
Joyce came to me and asked me to create a low centrepiece using reds and yellows as her colours. She did not want any greenery in the centrepieces because she was concerned it would look too Christmasy (red being her predominant colour). And she did not want any roses in her centrepieces. I am a huge fan of roses, they are sturdy and last a long time, they are affordable plus they come in all colours year round. The challenge was to find an alternative red flower for the centrepieces so Joyce really liked red dahlias. Another flower she liked was the red mokkara orchids which complemented the dahlias pefectly. The accent colour was yellow and the cymbidium orchids were perfect.
The final result, a gorgeous and elegant arrangment of red orchids, red dahlias and yellow cymbidium orchids.
